This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic interim support across various open sales territories throughout the country.

• Oversee assigned regions while promoting a specialized Neurology product to Movement Disorder Specialists and Neurologists.

• Offer value and assistance to help providers identify and initiate appropriate patients on therapy.

• Educate physicians, staff, and healthcare professionals about Acadia products while addressing inquiries, objections, and concerns.

• Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, coordinating issue resolution with internal stakeholders.

• Analyze sales potential and implement territory plans, which include call activities, business meals, speaker programs, and approved initiatives.

• Develop, evaluate, and modify quarterly business and action plans.

• Provide guidance on pricing and reimbursement, acting as a liaison between customers and Acadia.

• Submit reports in a timely manner, maintain precise expense records, and adhere to regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with sales leadership, regional and area team members, and cross-functional partners.

• Attend conferences, training sessions, meetings, exhibits, and product launches.

• Engage in leadership activities, mentoring, field training, cross-functional projects, and training meetings.

• Represent Acadia’s culture, mission, and values while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Foster customer relationships and provide information regarding disease, products, and reimbursement.

• Supply approved customer resources, including product samples, clinical trial data, and patient brochures.

• Manage relationships with key opinion leaders, speakers, medical societies, advocacy groups, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacists.

• Enhance neuroscience and Acadia product knowledge while understanding local and regional market trends.

• Pursue continuous development and establish subject-matter expertise within the neuroscience medical community.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an emphasis in life sciences.

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant job experience may be considered.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Ability to travel 90% of the time and reside in assigned locations for 1 to 6 months at a time.

• Must maintain good standing with the FDA and OIG.

• Proven selling skills with the capability to engage effectively with customers.

• Ability to swiftly establish relationships with key customers and networks within the neuroscience community.

• Must reside within the assigned territory in temporary housing covered by Acadia and relocate every 3 to 6 months as business needs require.

• Exceptional knowledge of disease states and products.

• Strong persuasive selling and negotiation abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to assess territory opportunities and customer needs, maximizing impact in a short timeframe.

• Ability to learn and apply technical/scientific knowledge as well as business analyses.

• Traits of organization, initiative, and self-motivation are essential.

• Professionalism, integrity, compliance with policies, and the ability to operate in a highly regulated environment while maintaining confidentiality are required.

• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are necessary.

• Compliance with the Company Fleet Management Program, including periodic DMV reviews, is required.

• Ability to extensively drive a company-provided vehicle and travel overnight and by air as needed.

• Capability to travel independently overnight and work after hours as required.

• Ability to temporarily reside within the territory for 3 to 6 months as necessary.

• Convenient access to a major airport may be necessary depending on territory geography.
