Associate Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable and advanced software and application solutions for enterprise clients.

• Apply engineering best practices such as design reviews, continuous integration, and test-driven development.

• Deliver technical proposals and solution strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (clients, architects, project managers, and sales) to establish technical requirements and design scalable solutions.

• Investigate new technology platforms, coordinate project activities, and facilitate communication to address issues and sustain project momentum.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 1 year of experience in computer programming.

• 1 year of experience with back-end development and open source technologies (Jersey framework or Spring framework).

• 1 year of experience with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL).

• 1 year of experience with at least two NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB).

• 1 year of experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• 1 year of experience with agile JIRA and DevOps tools (Docker, Gradle, Git).

• 1 year of practical programming experience in web development (Java, JavaScript (Node, Angular, or React), and Python).
