This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee EDI requests to guarantee prompt responses by collecting required information, addressing inquiries, and supplying suitable layouts/file formats.
• Serve as a connector between Account Management, internal EDI resources, and external partners.
• Organize activities and streamline automated EDI processing.
• Engage in pre- and post-sales discussions with brokers and clients.
• Provide guidance on the onboarding approach's compatibility with automated EDI processing and suggest modifications to enhance automation.
• Implement standardized inbound file feeds for new clients and manage ongoing maintenance requests, including demographic and eligibility files.
• Oversee file configuration validation and ensure successful initial and continuous file transmission and processing.
• Offer ongoing file support to existing customers, including Level 2 technical troubleshooting.
• Act as a testing resource for strategic projects.
• Accelerate the resolution of escalated file issues with third-party benefit administration partners.
• Investigate root causes and propose improvements in processes and file formats.
• Identify, suggest, and advocate for process enhancements and organizational initiatives.
• Assist in change management and departmental as well as enterprise initiatives.
• 0–1+ years of experience in EDI setup and automation directly relevant to this role, or 1+ years of experience in Group Protection in customer-facing positions relevant to this role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to utilize probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, proportions, averages, and variances to develop practical solutions.
• 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience; 4 years of experience may replace a Bachelor’s degree.
