
Associate Donor Advisor, Mid-Level Giving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a portfolio consisting of 400-700 PETA donors, each contributing between $1,000 and $5,000 annually.
• Engage potential new donors through a series of tailored communications.
• Develop and execute a communication strategy (including updates, invitations, proposals, and reports) for each donor to nurture relationships, solicit financial contributions, and ensure stewardship.
• Deliver personalized communications to donors, fostering relationships and achieving a minimum of 35 meaningful two-way interactions each month.
• Identify and research suitable "cases for giving" tailored to specific PETA donors.
• Pinpoint donors interested in including PETA in their estate plans for follow-up actions.
• Conduct donor visits via phone, in-person, and electronic means.
• Record essential information (meetings, correspondence, notes, research) to enhance and develop PETA donor profiles in the organization's database.
• Support fundraising events as needed.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of three years of progressive experience in fundraising or business development.
• A high degree of initiative, organizational capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding persuasive and explanatory written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain professional relationships with members and supporters.
• Demonstrated excellent project management, strategic thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Experience with donor databases and proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.
• Proven capability to work independently while upholding strict confidentiality.
• Professional appearance and commitment to a healthy vegan lifestyle.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid U.S. driver's license, with a minimum of three years of driving experience and a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Capability to represent PETA's philosophy and advocate for its positions on various issues in a professional manner.
