This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategy, direction, and implementation of the Nurse Educator program that supports Biogen's objectives for the MS franchise and patient services.
• Create and execute national business plans that align with patient support and branding goals.
• Set program objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance targets.
• Propel strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing patient onboarding, adherence, retention, and overall patient experience.
• Discover opportunities to innovate the Nurse Educator model and broaden its impact within the organization.
• Ensure uniform execution across all regions and with vendor partners.
• Lead a geographically distributed team of contracted Nurse Educators.
• Define performance expectations and accountability frameworks.
• Assess field effectiveness, manage workloads, and allocate resources effectively.
• Promote coaching, professional development, engagement, and ongoing improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with teams in Patient Services, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Managed Markets, Market Access, and Training.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading regional or national field teams within a healthcare environment.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic business plans.
• Experience in vendor management and operational governance.
• Strong abilities in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.
• Commitment to adhering to legal, regulatory, privacy, and company standards.
• Experience in the Multiple Sclerosis therapeutic area is preferred.
• An advanced degree in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with patient services and field nursing operations is preferred.
