Associate Director, Thought Leader Strategy – I/O Commercial Franchise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish advocacy with key opinion leaders in the Immuno-Oncology (I/O) domain, specifically for LOQTORZI® (nasopharyngeal carcinoma).

• Spearhead external collaborations and assist in brand marketing initiatives for LOQTORZI®.

• Create a strategic Regional engagement plan in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

• Direct commercial KOL initiatives, often with significant visibility, throughout the organization.

• Effectively implement brand strategic imperatives by executing targeted peer-to-peer programming, congress engagement strategies, and insight generation initiatives (including insight gathering, congresses, and advisory boards).

• Through collaboration across functions, evaluate potential training needs or insights required from KOLs for internal training objectives. Identify thought leaders and oversee internal engagements for Plan of Action (POA) meetings and training sessions.

• Assess and evaluate KOL activities.

• Engage in the annual brand planning process and contribute to the formulation of the Thought Leader annual strategy.

• Foster relationships and provide guidance to key agency partners and vendors.

• Work alongside the broader LOQTORZI commercial team and support initiatives as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and Thought Leader Development.

• Background in immuno-oncology and head and neck cancer preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA) is strongly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with and present to KOLs.

• Excellent strategic thinking abilities with the capacity to formulate, develop, and execute strategies.

• Proficient in gathering insights from customer interactions and translating market research findings into actionable insights and tactical plans.

• Ability to comprehend and communicate clinical data and advanced scientific concepts.

• Strong aptitude for collaboration and leadership within cross-functional teams, working effectively with commercial management, clinical development, medical affairs, field sales leadership, regulatory, compliance, market research, and other departments.

• Proven excellence in project management, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Demonstrated capability to lead agencies and external partners in aligning and developing tactical plans and promotional materials that support brand strategy.

• Champion materials through the medical, legal, and regulatory review processes (promotional review).

• Willingness to travel over 40% as required by business needs, including overnight stays and participation in some evening and weekend events.
