Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field of dermatology.

• Establish and sustain connections with current and prospective industry experts, including Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Biologic Coordinators.

• Develop and oversee Key Opinion Leader relationships throughout designated districts.

• Plan and coordinate KOL activities and events that support the brand’s KOL engagement strategy.

• Identify and evaluate promotional speakers.

• Mentor promotional speakers and manage communications with them.

• Collaborate with home office-based teams to create and implement marketing and educational programs.

• Represent the Tremfya and ICOTYDE Dermatology brands.

• Propel healthcare innovation throughout the Southeastern region of the United States.

• Be prepared to travel up to 60% locally and regionally, including attending evening events, overnight stays, and weekend travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 7 years of relevant industry experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in people management or project management is required.

• A focus in biotechnology sales or marketing, ideally within medical dermatology therapeutic markets, is preferred.

• Proven experience in managing and expanding customer relationships.

• A demonstrated history of success and leadership.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively convey insights and ideas.

• Capability to analyze complex business scenarios and devise innovative solutions.

• Experience in vendor management is essential.

• A demonstrated commitment to learning new technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time is preferred.

• Candidates should live in the Southeast region and be within a reasonable distance from a major airport.

• Willingness to engage in up to 60% local/regional travel, including evening events, overnight stays, and weekend travel.
