This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• This position is remote, requiring up to 50% domestic travel.
• Candidates can be based anywhere within the United States.
• Responsible for providing strategic direction to enhance and accelerate MAVYRET's business outcomes.
• Focused on creating perceptual differentiation in the marketplace for both AbbVie and MAVYRET.
• Identifying and optimizing partnerships for HCV elimination.
• Strategically identifying opportunities for market growth.
• Leading a team of regional TLLs to implement the established strategy.
• Possessing a deep understanding of HCV market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics.
• Setting TLL strategy and collaborating on HCP and Consumer marketing strategies, resource optimization, and tactic development.
• Partnering with Senior Leaders to pinpoint significant marketing opportunities and projects on a national scale.
• Serving as a link between sales and marketing to enhance communication and bridge business gaps.
• Developing KOL strategy and overseeing in-field execution, including identifying future leaders who can drive business results.
• Planning all external activities that engage KOLs, such as Sponsorships, Conventions, and AdBoards.
• Coordinating efforts among various external vendors and internal departments including Agency Partners, Marketing, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Corporate Compliance, Consumer Marketing, and BTS.
• Managing the TLL promotional budget.
• Continuously overseeing and evolving the HCV elimination (“ELIMINation”) program to maximize its strategic impact.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales, sales management, or marketing, including at least 2 years in Hepatology/Virology/Addiction Medicine.
• At least 3 years of experience in HCP-related activities (e.g., familiarity with marketing concepts in strategic planning and tactical execution).
• Experience in agency/vendor management.
• Strong project management and communication skills, complemented by analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and team-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of achieving results through influence and teamwork.
• Quick learner with the ability to navigate ambiguity and limited data while making sound decisions.
• Must be a self-starter who can work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven ability to grasp medical and clinical aspects of pharmaceutical products and apply them to marketing strategies and tactical execution.
• Experience in deriving insights from both quantitative and qualitative market research and data analysis.
• Strong written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to support brand objectives.
• Must meet all applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain access to facilities and organizations within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test, meeting safe driving standards.
