This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, assess, and enhance specialty pharmacy operations within the Market Access and Trade team.
• Manage dispensing operations within the specialty pharmacy channel to enhance patient access and adherence.
• Provide a premier experience for both patients and prescribers.
• Collaborate with teams from Patient Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Market Access.
• Engage with external stakeholders for daily program operations and analyze data and KPIs.
• Track specialty pharmacy performance in relation to contractual obligations.
• Implement specialty pharmacy services, enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
• Maintain program correspondence, scripting, and collateral through legal and regulatory approval processes.
• Assess specialty pharmacy vendor performance alongside operations and data analytics teams.
• Support Quarterly Business Reviews by preparing materials, setting vendor expectations, and identifying strategic insights.
• Develop and convey key messages to internal and external channel partners.
• Oversee operational plans, project budgets, expenses, and timelines.
• Create and uphold policies, procedures, and business rules for distribution programs.
• Achieve measurable outcomes based on program KPIs and deliver program-level reporting to leadership.
• Lead intricate cross-functional projects and drive operational change management.
• Ensure adherence to ethics, quality, and compliance with market access and channel laws.
• Conduct activities in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Travel approximately 20%.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• 10–12+ years of relevant experience within the biopharma industry.
• Established history of high performance in operations-focused roles.
• 3+ years of experience in operationalizing specialty pharmacy programs and networks is required.
• Capability to derive insights from data trends to enhance program performance.
• Proficient in working within a cross-functional team and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
• Exceptional written, organizational, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Approximately 20% travel is expected.
• An advanced degree in Business or Pharmacy is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in customer/vendor management within the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience with pre-launch drugs and new product launches is preferred.
• Base salary ranging from $180,000 to $221,000 annually.
