Associate Director – Senior Workday Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Strong knowledge of Workday's Implementation Methodology

• Familiarity with the Workday product suite, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, and/or Student

• Oversee 2 large and 4+ medium enterprise Workday full platform product implementations in the role of Project Manager

• Ensure that projects are appropriately planned and adequately staffed

• Monitor issues and risks, communicate project status, and escalate concerns as necessary

• Provide mentorship and guidance to consultants involved in their implementations

• Collaborate with the client project manager to identify and resolve any issues that may affect project scope or timelines

• Ensure project delivery remains within the budget specified in the SOW

• Present change orders to clients if they request Workday to undertake tasks beyond the SOW's scope

• Participate in Executive Steering Committee meetings as a presenter

• Ensure timely completion of Workday compliance and scorecard updates

• Assist in transitioning customers from professional services to product support

• Ensure clients are able to serve as references post-implementation

• Join the sales cycle when necessary to gather requirements, devise a delivery strategy, and create a proposal/SOW

• Identify opportunities to promote additional service offerings

• Mentor fellow project managers and create tools and templates to enhance project support

• Provide assistance to the Workday Practice Operations as required

• Offer oversight on various projects as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of implementation experience as a project manager with HCM, Payroll, and Financials

• At least 5 years as a Workday Engagement Manager at a Partner Consulting firm

• Successfully led multiple Workday platform implementations from initiation to completion, ideally within the public sector

• Experience with Workday Local/State/Agency government implementations is mandatory

• Experience in Higher Education is an advantage

• Proficient in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office
