This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct thorough literature reviews of clinical trials, peer-reviewed articles, clinical guidelines, and various medical/scientific data sources.
• Create needs assessments and grant proposals, ensuring accuracy in content while identifying engaging educational designs.
• Identify publishing opportunities and prepare abstracts for scientific posters and podium presentations.
• Communicate effectively to facilitate a smooth workflow and manage opportunities, needs, ideas, and timelines.
• Proactively pinpoint and address issues related to instructional design components.
• Review content produced by other medical writers and freelancers.
• Engage in decision-making processes regarding PRIME®’s learning model and implementation procedures.
• Carry out other assigned duties as needed.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree (PhD or PharmD preferred) in a scientific, medical, or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in designing and developing continuing medical education (CME/CE) activities for healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Experience in creating CME/CE activities funded by pharmaceutical companies and government contracts or grants is preferred.
• Experience in training, project management, and/or supervising staff in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
• Exceptional ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Capability to independently research, design, and produce high-quality scientific grant and medical writing.
• Proficient in conducting literature reviews and analyzing scientific/medical research independently.
• Strong analytical and didactic skills to perform medical writing in alignment with AMA criteria and grant development procedures.
• Proficient analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to source data from credible references for grant development.
• Possess creative and visionary abilities to conceptualize and implement innovative educational program designs and formats.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare industry, pharmaceutical pipelines, healthcare policies, and the CE industry.
• Experience in developing content in various disease areas including oncology, diabetes, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, respiratory issues, pain management, mental health, women’s health, gastroenterology, hepatology, infectious diseases, or immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
