This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead the comprehensive development of educational grants, followed by the creation of content for secured grants.
• Discover and establish continuous grant development opportunities through research, analysis, and partnerships with expert faculty.
• Produce high-quality scientific and medical documentation while overseeing project deliverables.
• Conduct literature reviews of clinical trials, peer-reviewed publications, clinical guidelines, and other medical/scientific resources.
• Create needs assessments, grant proposals, precise content, program titles, learning objectives, agendas, and formats.
• Identify opportunities for publication.
• Generate abstracts for scientific posters and presentations at medical conferences.
• Author journal articles for peer-reviewed journals.
• Design and create continuing education programs and research-based initiatives for interprofessional healthcare teams.
• Utilize adult learning principles in grant development, program design, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, departments, and stakeholders to execute educational products and services effectively.
• Develop educational designs, formats, and execution strategies to meet unmet educational and research needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare key opinion leaders to gather expert insights and educational needs.
• Contribute to outcome measurement, including planning, survey instrument development, program analysis, and communication of results.
• Create scientific articles, abstracts, outcome-based presentations, and publications.
• Communicate opportunities, needs, ideas, and timelines to support the goals of the department and the organization.
• Identify and address instructional design challenges, providing timely recommendations to the Therapeutic Group Director, Scientific Affairs.
• Review medical content produced by writers and freelancers, offering guidance or revisions as necessary.
• Engage in discussions regarding PRIME’s learning model and implementation strategies.
• Attend Scientific Affairs meetings, including grant and content planning sessions.
• Report directly to the Therapeutic Group Director, Scientific Affairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in a scientific, medical, or related discipline relevant to the responsibilities outlined in this job description; a PhD or PharmD is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in designing and developing continuing medical education (CME/CE) activities for healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Experience in creating CME/CE activities funded by pharmaceutical companies and government grants or contracts is preferred.
• Experience in training, project management, and/or team supervision in a collaborative environment is preferred.
• Exceptional ability to work independently and manage multiple high-level responsibilities and projects with precision and efficiency.
• Capability to independently research, design, and produce high-quality scientific grant and medical writing.
• Proficiency in conducting literature reviews and analyzing scientific/medical research independently.
• Ability to perform medical writing in accordance with AMA standards and grant development protocols.
• Skill in organizing and clearly presenting educational designs and deliverables efficiently and accurately.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to convey complex data results clearly and succinctly.
• Proficient in gathering data from credible sources for grant development.
• Creative and innovative capabilities to develop and implement unique educational program designs and formats.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare industry, pharmaceutical pipelines, healthcare policies, and the continuing education sector.
• Experience in content development for specific disease areas, including oncology, diabetes, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, respiratory issues, pain management, mental health, women’s health, gastroenterology, hepatology, infectious diseases, or immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
