This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Establish, lead, and enhance a centralized RFX team that provides support to all three SBUs through consistent processes and exceptional service delivery.
• Create and execute a standardized, enterprise-wide RFX framework that aligns with sourcing strategies, compliance mandates, and organizational objectives.
• Supervise the comprehensive execution of all RFX activities, including project intake, scoping, documentation preparation, supplier engagement, evaluation, and award coordination.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams and Commodity Leads to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency enhancements, and value generation across various categories and business units.
• Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to assess team performance, cycle times, quality, compliance, and realized savings.
• Design and sustain streamlined workflows, templates, and governance structures to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure RFX processes promote speed, quality, and fairness in supplier selection while encouraging competitive and strategic sourcing results.
• Coach and mentor the RFX team, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Lead cross-functional communication and change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of the centralized RFX model and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging tools in procurement and RFX management; recommend and implement improvements to systems, processes, and methodologies.
• Provide leadership oversight for supplier interactions during RFX events to maintain professionalism, strategic alignment, and clarity in communications.
• Generate regular executive-level reports that summarize activity volumes, outcomes, savings performance, and strategic insights.
• Up to 40% travel is required.
• Typically necessitates a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Over 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Expertise in developing and overseeing enterprise-level RFX processes, tools, or centralized sourcing functions.
• Familiarity with DFAR compliant proposals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing best practices, competitive bidding methodologies, procurement governance, and supplier evaluation techniques.
