Associate Director – Project Management – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.

• Convert strategic objectives into actionable initiatives with clearly defined ownership and sequencing.

• Create and oversee integrated, multi-workstream workplans along with delivery dependencies.

• Act as the main point of contact for senior client executives and Steering Committees.

• Establish and uphold governance frameworks, which include stage gates, escalation pathways, and approval processes.

• Handle scope, risk, and change control measures to ensure alignment with engagement goals.

• Ensure tracking and realization of benefits related to EBITDA, cost reductions, revenue enhancement, or quality metrics.

• Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could affect financial and operational results.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise PMO and project support personnel.

• Serve as a recognized expert in margin and/or quality improvement areas, including workforce productivity, supply chain management, revenue cycle, managed care, physician enterprise, strategy, and care transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 9–15+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, operations, or enterprise transformation.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-workstream projects with measurable financial results.

• Experience engaging directly with C-suite executives and senior leaders in health systems.

• Strong capabilities in program and project management, governance, and execution.

• Advanced financial understanding related to margin and performance enhancement.

• Excellent leadership, judgment, and executive communication abilities.
