Associate Director - Product Artwork Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Associate Director, Product Artwork Management is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive product artwork capability throughout the product lifecycle.

• Develop, expand, and execute a worldwide printed-labeling (artwork) strategy and implementation process that encompasses the entire BioMarin product portfolio across all regions.

• Design the multi-year roadmap for artwork capabilities, systems, and digital enhancements.

• Create, oversee, and sustain the artwork governance framework, ensuring that all artwork across the portfolio and markets is accurate, compliant, and ready for inspection.

• Direct the planning and preparation of artwork for new product introductions and global launches, ensuring integrated timelines that align with regulatory and supply milestones.

• Oversee the artwork lifecycle from inception to execution—guaranteeing right-first-time quality and compliant, traceable operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is preferred.

• Approximately 10–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech operations, focusing on artwork/labeling, product launches, or supply chain in GxP-regulated settings.

• Demonstrated experience in leading global, cross-functional programs and developing or transforming operational models.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GMP, ICH, FDA, EMA), product lifecycle and labeling processes, packaging operations, and labeling/artwork systems (e.g., GLAMS, Veeva Vault).
