This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage a team of five while working closely with business development, operations, technical operations, finance, and senior leadership to create precise bids and proposals for medical affairs scopes of work.
• Direct operational pricing strategies to enhance sales and market penetration, aligning with long-term business goals.
• Provide guidance to commercial teams on significant deal matters and effective strategies to facilitate deal closures.
• Assess, analyze, and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Coordinate strategy meetings and oversee the development and production of bids and proposals.
• Create and maintain accurate standards.
• Engage with clients to collect information, deliver education and feasibility feedback, support business development presentations, and aid in closing deals.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing solutioning, bid, and proposal efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the daily operations of the bids and proposal team, fostering decision-making, accountability, and adherence to deadlines.
• Guide team members in their professional growth and cultivate cross-functional business relationships.
• An advanced degree with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in solutioning, proposals, pricing, or related fields.
• Preferably experienced in medical communications operations.
• Strong investigative and analytical skills.
• Capability to recognize commercial team needs, innovate solutions, and address ambiguous challenges.
• Skilled in shaping and influencing decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-matrix environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, sourcing systems, and related tools.
• Competence in hiring, leading, coaching, enhancing, and developing a team.
• Ability to foster personal responsibility, accountability, and open communication.
• Aptitude for identifying process and control gaps and advocating for improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement.
• Willingness to travel 0–25% of the time.
