Associate Director, Oncology Digital, Omnichannel Marketing

📋 Description

• Collaborate on the creation and implementation of the operational omnichannel strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall brand vision and customer engagement objectives.

• Oversee the complete orchestration of all marketing elements within the full strategy to facilitate personalized and seamless customer experiences.

• Act as the marketing lead for omnichannel governance, ensuring effective coordination among Marketing, Insights and Analytics, and Sales, as well as across various organizational units.

• Proactively manage digital and media strategies, including channel mix, budget oversight, and tactical execution. Supervise agency partners in the development and implementation of media and digital initiatives. Ensure timely launch of tactics, coordinate asset delivery with agency partners, and guarantee prompt provision of data and analytics. Continuously evaluate channel performance and recommend strategically aligned, data-driven optimizations to the Marketing team.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators across all digital, media, and omnichannel efforts.

• Track performance against plans and budget, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Insights and Analytics, and vendors to produce monthly and quarterly performance reports for media, digital, and website activities to inform decision-making.

• Oversee the performance of both branded and unbranded websites, focusing on user experience, traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics.

• Work with agencies and internal teams to ensure compliant and accurate data capture and analytics for oncology-related websites.

• Provide actionable, data-driven insights and key takeaways to HCP and Patient marketing leads to facilitate optimizations and enhancements.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Insights and Analytics teams to execute customer journey strategies for HCP and Patient audiences, utilizing the technology stack.

• Contribute to the development of customer journey maps (HCP, Patient) that align with brand objectives and audience insights, identifying key touchpoints, pain points, and personalization opportunities.

• Lead the processes for audience targeting, activation, and optimization of automated and triggered campaigns, ensuring timely and compliant execution.

• Drive continuous optimization of journeys based on performance insights and testing.

• Direct the definition of user and business requirements for the marketing technology stack.

• Collaborate with the Insights and Analytics team to ensure timely delivery of capabilities that support the marketing strategy within omnichannel execution.

• Ensure the effective use of tools within the technology stack to enable advanced targeting, measurement, and automation.

• Design and lead pilot programs and test-and-learn initiatives to assess new channels, content formats, technologies, and engagement strategies.

• Embody and promote Corcept’s core principles, collaborating effectively, embracing possibilities, following data insights, and leading by example to cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and trust.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• Over 7 years of progressive marketing experience in life sciences, digital agency marketing, or medtech product management, with a preference for candidates with pharmaceutical industry experience; oncology experience is a plus.

• Proficient in digital and offline/traditional non-personal channel delivery, media planning and placement, peer-to-peer programming, and event marketing.

• Experience in customer journey mapping and optimization.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in pharmaceutical marketing.

• Proven ability to apply a data-driven approach to omnichannel marketing execution and performance optimization, with a history of achieving measurable business outcomes.

• Expertise and hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing and Data Cloud, Veeva) and website platforms.

• Knowledge of personalization and AI-driven content delivery tools, customer journey mapping, and optimization frameworks.

• Strong project management, presentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
