This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer specialized modeling, AI, and programming expertise to GHEOR TA teams.
• Implement market-level CE model adaptations utilizing the BMS GHEOR EAI Generative AI tool suite.
• Execute preliminary economic models to aid in pipeline decision-making.
• Spearhead automation initiatives using AI methodologies.
• Highly skilled in matrix collaboration.
• Actively participate and review within the Model Protocol Review Committee.
• Create top-tier innovative HTA methodologies that guarantee optimal access for the BMS portfolio, including (but not limited to) enhancing MAx AI capabilities to accelerate patient access and/or decrease operational costs.
• Direct the BMS external strategy to advance payer/HTA agency methodologies in evaluating the value of the BMS portfolio.
• Serve as the scientific authority to MAx regarding the latest modeling techniques that enhance the evaluation of BMS assets.
• Conduct horizon scans of the latest advancements in HTA methodologies from academia, payers, and competitors, incorporating key insights.
• Collaborate with GHEOR asset leads and BMS affiliates to execute the MAx AI-based model adaptations program – work efficiently with the internal EAI contractor team at BMS.
• Provide structural updates to economic models.
• Offer expert-level assistance in developing cost-effectiveness and budget impact models in partnership with cross-functional local, regional, and global teams.
• Deliver early HEOR analytics to guide pricing strategies for CE archetypes as needed.
• Contribute modeling insights to the development and updates of Value Stories.
• Analyze clinical study outcomes and plan further statistical analyses required for core models and their adaptations, including indirect treatment comparisons.
• Engage in prompt and effective communication with HTA and reimbursement authorities as requested or required by matrix teams.
• Doctorate Degree (PhD) or Master’s (MSc) in health economics or a related relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic and software such as R, Python, OPEN BUGS, and JAGs, with the capability to program, interpret, and modify existing code as necessary.
• Lead projects as the subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and expertise while overseeing execution to ensure successful outcomes.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Proven experience in model development, HTA experience, and innovative methods shaping, including published research in these areas.
• Basic knowledge of generative AI techniques and tools for automating HEOR & Access workflows, with a strong emphasis on minimizing risks such as biases and inaccuracies.
• Experienced in developing and customizing health economic models for reimbursement submissions to HTA authorities globally.
• Familiarity with working with payers and other users of health economic information.
• Understanding of epidemiology, economics, relative effectiveness assessment, and medical writing.
• Experience working across a wide range of internal functions.
• Strong skills in Excel, R and/or Python, and VBA.
• Preference for candidates with experience in OpenBUGS and/or WinBUGS and/or JAGS.
• Previous consulting experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for key Congresses and various internal/external engagements is required.
