Associate Director – Medical Information

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Address unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders with precise, evidence-based information.

• Handle complex medical inquiries and create scientific response materials, such as Standard Response Letters (SRLs), FAQs, and Q&A documents.

• Evaluate clinical data and scientific literature, converting intricate findings into clear and balanced communications.

• Assist in product launch readiness, label updates, scientific congresses, and the disclosure of new data.

• Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Patient Safety, Quality, and various cross-functional teams.

• Analyze inquiry trends, identify content gaps, and refresh response materials based on emerging evidence.

• Supervise vendor deliverables, provide scientific training, and ensure adherence to relevant safety and regulatory standards.

• Keep accurate documentation and report adverse events and product complaints following established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).

• Ideally, over 5 years of experience in Medical Information within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector.

• Proven experience in managing complex medical inquiries and developing scientific response content.

• Strong skills in scientific literature review, clinical data interpretation, and medical writing.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations, safety reporting, fair balance, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• Experience in hematology/oncology, immuno-oncology, or cell therapy is preferred.

• Knowledge of multiple myeloma and product launch readiness is preferred.

• Previous experience with Medical Information vendors, content management systems, CRM platforms, or inquiry trend analysis is preferred.
