This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate LCA projects from initial strategy and methodology to final implementation.
• Develop innovative LCA methodologies for novel and complex scenarios, including emerging technologies, circular systems, service-oriented models, and dynamic value chains.
• Convert LCA findings and environmental impacts into actionable insights for C-suite executives and leaders in product, manufacturing, and sustainability.
• Serve as a reliable technical consultant to clients and create customized strategies for sustainability and business issues.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across projects by reviewing models and deliverables.
• Assist teams utilizing SimaPro, OpenLCA, and Excel.
• Lead and nurture project teams, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, mentor junior staff, and enhance LCA capabilities.
• Engage in business development efforts, including proposals, RFP responses, and opportunities to broaden Anthesis' LCA services.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, new methodologies, automation, scaling LCA, Product Carbon Footprinting, sustainable product design, and technology-driven sustainability transformations.
• Represent Anthesis at conferences, industry events, and other platforms.
• Assist cities, corporations, investors, and various organizations in enhancing sustainable performance through financially-driven sustainability strategies and expert technical guidance.
• A minimum of 7 years of practical LCA experience across various sectors, including leadership of complex assessments.
• A degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficient in SimaPro, OpenLCA, and Excel.
• Familiarity with ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, GHG Protocol Product Standard, PEF, PCRs, EPD-related EN standards, and pertinent industry-specific frameworks.
• Experience with GHG inventories and corporate carbon footprint assessments.
• Proven experience applying LCA in intricate or emerging scenarios, such as circular systems, new technologies, service-oriented frameworks, or evolving value chains.
• Knowledge of system boundaries, feedstocks, data quality, assumptions, and methodological decisions.
• Capability to work with incomplete or imperfect data and formulate defensible strategies.
• Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.
• Proficient in managing multiple complex projects, balancing competing priorities, and upholding quality and delivery standards.
• Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
• Ability to provide technical leadership while considering project and client contexts.
• A commercial mindset with confidence in contributing to business development, proposals, and client discussions.
• Experience in technology, semiconductors, digital services, AI, cloud infrastructure, or footprinting in the technology sector is advantageous.
