This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the identification, profiling, tiering, and strategic mapping of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the fields of endocrinology, rare diseases, and genetics that are pertinent to ADH1 and encaleret.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive national KOL engagement strategy, with a regional emphasis tailored to territorial geography (East or West).
• Foster enduring, trust-based relationships with academic thought leaders, community endocrinologists, and specialists in rare diseases who impact ADH1 diagnosis and treatment.
• Direct the establishment and execution of commercial advisory boards to extract field insights and shape brand strategy.
• Assist in the development and oversight of the encaleret speaker bureau, encompassing structure, speaker selection and training, as well as innovative presentation formats.
• Oversee KOL engagement planning and implementation for significant endocrinology and rare disease congresses (ENDO, AACE, NORD, among others).
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to guarantee appropriate field representation and KOL interaction at scientific congresses, adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Build relationships with professional societies related to hypoparathyroidism and ADH1, identifying potential opportunities for disease education and collaborative programs.
• Act as the commercial field lead for enhancing awareness of ADH1 as a unique clinical entity, differentiating it from other types of hypoparathyroidism.
• Actively collect and synthesize KOL insights regarding CaSR gain-of-function testing, diagnostic pathways, and unmet needs in ADH1 management, integrating these insights into commercial and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the Endocrine Account Manager (EAM) field team to synchronize KOL engagement priorities with healthcare professional outreach and territory activation.
• Monitor the competitive and scientific landscape, including updates to clinical practice guidelines, emerging data, and relevant publication activities.
• Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Advocacy to ensure coordinated and compliant KOL engagement across various functions.
• Partner with agency collaborators in creating educational resources and KOL programming materials.
• Establish targeted KPI frameworks and measurement plans; track progress against engagement objectives and report findings to the Sr. Director, Head of Marketing.
• Advocate for compliance in all KOL engagement activities, ensuring alignment with BridgeBio policies, OIG guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, particularly in commercial roles (KOL engagement, marketing, sales leadership, or medical affairs).
• Proven experience in engaging endocrinology KOLs and/or rare disease thought leaders at both national and regional levels.
• Extensive knowledge of the endocrinology landscape, including academic medical centers, endocrine professional societies, and pertinent disease communities.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement KOL engagement strategies, advisory boards, and speaker bureau programs in a compliant, outcomes-driven manner.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration; comfortable operating within a matrixed environment encompassing commercial, medical, and access functions.
• High-level strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate field insights into actionable commercial strategies.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a patient-first focus — experience in rare diseases within a launch-stage or early commercial setting is highly valued.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• A proven self-starter who can operate independently with strong accountability and organizational discipline.
