This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance Butler University’s competitive position in International Admission and effectively support enrollment objectives as outlined by university leadership.
• Develop recruitment strategies, objectives, and plans for International recruitment, informed by demographic analyses, market research, and other admission data, which should be incorporated into a detailed international student recruitment strategy.
• Oversee and evaluate all International applications for admission.
• Conduct international credential evaluations and/or supervise the third-party evaluation process.
• Generate periodic reports to evaluate marketing performance.
• Handle prospective inquiries and professional communications.
• Participate in college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment activities within the assigned territory.
• Establish new external relationships to aid in achieving enrollment targets.
• Contribute to internal work groups and committees as designated.
• Act as the Department of Homeland Security Designated School Official (DSO) to create initial I-20 documents in compliance with F-1 student visa regulations.
• Regular travel to Indianapolis for training and on-campus recruitment events.
• Manage the international partner agency network, including initial and ongoing training of partner staff to enhance international recruitment initiatives.
• Support domestic recruitment efforts by attending college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events in remote locations when domestic admission staff are unavailable.
• Mentor and advise additional admission staff who assist in international recruitment, travel, and student engagement.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in enrollment management, high school guidance/college counseling, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven capability to create and present content effectively in both large and small group settings, in-person, and virtually.
• Familiarity with necessary international documents and immigration processes.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Experience with CRM database systems; knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Slate (Technolutions) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technological skills.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to travel approximately 10-15 weeks annually.
