This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Leads the development and execution of proactive policy initiatives.
• Converts emerging policy trends into practical insights.
• Designs and oversees the execution of strategic plans.
• Establishes Travere Therapeutics’ stance on significant issues.
• Monitors and assesses federal and state legislative, regulatory, and policy changes.
• Prepares meeting documentation, policy briefs, and internal strategy papers.
• Cultivates and sustains strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Aligns organizational direction and prioritization for policy initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in government affairs, health policy, or pharmaceutical policy.
• Proven analytical, critical thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Experience in the rare disease sector and/or the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry is essential.
