This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drives the creation and execution of proactive policy strategies.
• Converts emerging policy trends into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develops and leads the implementation of strategic plans to tackle policy threats and seize opportunities.
• Formulates Travere Therapeutics’ stance on significant issues raised by federal and state lawmakers.
• Monitors and analyzes developments in federal and state legislation, regulations, and policies.
• Prepares meeting materials, policy briefs, and internal strategic documents.
• Establishes and maintains robust working relationships with external stakeholders.
• Aligns the direction and prioritization of the organization’s policy initiatives.
• Works collaboratively with Corporate Affairs colleagues and internal stakeholders.
• Sets strategic goals, success metrics, and operational priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in government affairs, health policy, or pharmaceutical policy.
• Proven analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in the rare disease sector and/or the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
