This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Oversee, develop, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers responsible for access and fulfillment within Neuroscience healthcare provider accounts.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy.
• Equip healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with the information, tools, and resources necessary for patients to initiate and maintain therapy.
• Enhance communication across the Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales departments.
• Inspire, coach, nurture, and retain a diverse team.
• Lead a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports to optimize access and fulfillment effectiveness.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term strategic plans and manage the execution of associated tactics.
• Establish a positive team culture, promote accountability, manage FRM performance, cultivate customer relationships, and meet team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access challenges.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient issues related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Build trust-based partnerships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while operating in the field with minimal supervision.
• Oversee and allocate budget resources in line with team goals.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
• Report to the Field Director, Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant healthcare business experience is required.
• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Proven leadership skills and a track record of success in previous positions.
• A valid Driver's License issued in one of the 50 United States.
• Must reside within the designated geography or be willing to relocate.
• Preferably, 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience in the Neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications is preferred.
• Experience in navigating high-profile, complex business situations is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and implement customer-focused strategies is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional matrix environment is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are preferred.
• Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic market is preferred.
• Commitment to embracing emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
• Experience in fostering team AI literacy and confidence while promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
