This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Inspire, motivate, coach, and retain a diverse team of Field Reimbursement Managers.
• Oversee a regionally aligned team consisting of up to 10 direct reports.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy throughout the Southern region.
• Enhance patient access and fulfillment impact for those initiating or continuing therapy.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term strategic plans and oversee the execution of related tactics.
• Cultivate team culture, foster accountability, manage performance, and accomplish team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access barriers.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient challenges related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Establish trust-based relationships with internal and external partners as well as healthcare stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, Field Sales, Sales District Managers, SCG, and Franchise Marketing.
• Manage and allocate budget resources in accordance with team objectives.
• Operate in the field with minimal oversight.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to JJIM Credo, HCC Guidelines, and FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Report to the Field Director of Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or other relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare business is required.
• Understanding of account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Proven leadership skills and success in previous roles.
• A valid Driver's License in one of the 50 United States is necessary.
• Must reside within the specified geography or be willing to relocate.
• Preferably, 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience in the neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate high-profile, complex business situations is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing customer-oriented strategies is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional matrix environment is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
• Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic market is preferred.
• A commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
• Experience in building team AI literacy and confidence while promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
