This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers directly.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy within the Central region.
• Provide healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with the necessary information, tools, and resources to initiate and maintain therapy.
• Encourage communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales teams.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team while ensuring retention.
• Oversee up to 10 direct reports to enhance access and fulfillment outcomes.
• Formulate both short- and long-term strategic plans and oversee the execution of associated tactics.
• Cultivate team culture, promote accountability, manage FRM performance, and achieve team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access challenges.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient-related issues concerning Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, AOB, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Establish trust-based relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Operate in the field with minimal oversight.
• Manage and distribute the budget in accordance with team goals.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
• Report to the Field Director of Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of relevant healthcare business experience is required.
• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles is essential.
• Understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes is necessary.
• Proven leadership skills and successful performance in previous positions.
• A valid Driver's License from one of the 50 United States is required.
• Must reside in the area or be willing to relocate there.
• Over 3 years of direct people management experience is preferred.
• Experience with neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications are preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing customer-focused strategies is essential.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across functions in a matrix environment is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Experience in the neuroscience therapeutic market is preferred.
• A commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence is preferred.
