This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee, develop, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers who handle access and fulfillment tasks for Neuroscience healthcare provider accounts.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy effectively.
• Provide healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with information, tools, and resources necessary for initiating and maintaining therapy.
• Enhance communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales teams.
• Inspire, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team of professionals.
• Lead a regionally aligned group of up to 10 direct reports.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term strategic plans, overseeing the execution of related actions.
• Drive district vision, cultivate team culture, ensure accountability, manage FRM performance, build customer relationships, and accomplish team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access challenges.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient issues related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Establish trust-based relationships and collaborate with Sales District Managers, SCG, Franchise Marketing, Brand, and other stakeholders.
• Operate in the field with minimal oversight.
• Manage and allocate budget in accordance with team goals.
• Report to the Field Director, Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Execute responsibilities in alignment with the JJIM Credo, HCC Guidelines, and FRM Rules of Engagement.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare business is required.
• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes is essential.
• Proven leadership skills and track record of success in previous roles.
• A valid Driver's License from one of the 50 United States is necessary.
• Must reside within the specified geography or be open to relocating.
• An MBA or other relevant graduate-level degree is preferred.
• A focus on biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement, or managed markets is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of direct people management experience is preferred.
• Experience in the Neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications are favored.
• Demonstrated capability to navigate complex, high-profile business situations.
• Experience in developing and executing customer-centric strategies is crucial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional matrix environment is essential.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic market is an asset.
• A demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and responsible AI usage is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is required.
