This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Participate in the exchange of scientific data and various medical and/or scientific information.
• Develop, nurture, and sustain peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the field of Neurology.
• Serve as a primary clinical/scientific resource for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) regarding disease state and product information.
• Identify and maintain a roster of pertinent medical/therapeutic area experts.
• Assist in evidence generation through company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies.
• Recognize and communicate medical insights and educational needs to guide medical strategy.
• Address inquiries related to study indications, disease states, and therapeutic areas.
• Conduct disease management and therapeutic area education with designated practitioners, payers, and researchers.
• Attend conferences to gather and report relevant scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence.
• A Clinical/Science doctorate Degree is required (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, DVM).
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience as a Neurology MSL or in the field of Neurology is preferred.
• Proven experience in communicating complex data sets effectively.
• Ability to be perceived as a scientific peer while educating top KOLs is essential.
• Established relationships with KOLs in neuromuscular centers are preferred.
• Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines is required.
• Must be capable of frequent business travel (approximately 70% of the time), including air travel, overnight travel, and occasionally on weekends.
