This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
β’ Participate in the exchange of scientific data and various medical and/or scientific information.
β’ Develop, nurture, and sustain peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the field of Neurology.
β’ Serve as a primary clinical/scientific resource for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) regarding disease state and product information.
β’ Identify and maintain a roster of pertinent medical/therapeutic area experts.
β’ Assist in evidence generation through company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated studies.
β’ Recognize and communicate medical insights and educational needs to guide medical strategy.
β’ Address inquiries related to study indications, disease states, and therapeutic areas.
β’ Conduct disease management and therapeutic area education with designated practitioners, payers, and researchers.
β’ Attend conferences to gather and report relevant scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence.
β’ A Clinical/Science doctorate Degree is required (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, DVM).
β’ A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
β’ At least 4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry.
β’ Experience as a Neurology MSL or in the field of Neurology is preferred.
β’ Proven experience in communicating complex data sets effectively.
β’ Ability to be perceived as a scientific peer while educating top KOLs is essential.
β’ Established relationships with KOLs in neuromuscular centers are preferred.
β’ Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines is required.
β’ Must be capable of frequent business travel (approximately 70% of the time), including air travel, overnight travel, and occasionally on weekends.
