Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs – Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Participate in the sharing of scientific data and medical information with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, pharmacists, and decision-makers in the population.

• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of B-Cell Malignancies, including Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and Multiple Myeloma, in alignment with strategic medical initiatives.

• Identify and maintain a roster of medical and therapeutic area experts, investigator targets, and corresponding action plans.

• Build, nurture, and sustain relationships with KOLs in the field of Hematological Malignancies.

• Serve as the main clinical and scientific reference for disease-state and product-related information.

• Engage in the development and oversight of company-sponsored clinical trials.

• Forge scientific collaborations with investigators and internal Medical Affairs while supporting the investigator-initiated study concept program.

• Uncover research and treatment landscape insights that inform medical strategies.

• Recognize research gaps and create opportunities with investigators and site personnel.

• Address information requests and articulate/discuss scientific and clinical data.

• Attend medical conferences to gather and report scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence.

• Uphold company policies, procedures, principles, and financial controls with integrity and professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• A terminal scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DNP, or DVM) is mandatory.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 4 years in a Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison role.

• Familiarity with treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical regulations/compliant practices, and OIG guidelines.

• Residency within the designated territory is required.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are necessary.

• Established connections with KOLs and institutions specializing in Hematologic Malignancies are preferred.

• Experience with drug launches is favored.

• Ability to undertake frequent business travel, approximately 70% of the time, including air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekends.
