This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation and ongoing management of comprehensive project plans that align with program strategy, key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and decision points across essential functions.
• Collaborate with functional leads of sub-teams to ensure that plans are realistic, cohesive, and conducive to successful program execution.
• Propel cross-functional implementation by tracking progress against milestones, deliverables, timelines, resources, and critical path activities.
• Conduct effective team meetings and ensure accountability for decisions, actions, and follow-up activities.
• Recognize, evaluate, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and opportunities that may impact program objectives.
• Formulate mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation recommendations in conjunction with teams.
• Assist governance and leadership forums by preparing materials focused on decision-making, status updates, risk summaries, and recommendations.
• Communicate and synchronize key program priorities, decisions, milestones, and risks among stakeholders.
• Discover opportunities to enhance planning, execution, team effectiveness, and operational processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, operations, or related field is required.
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of project/program management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors.
• Strong comprehension of end-to-end drug development business processes.
• Experience in supporting cross-functional development teams, functional workstreams, or program-level initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Capability to develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decision points.
• Experience working across one or more development functions, such as clinical development, clinical operations, CMC, regulatory affairs, preclinical, translational, commercial, or medical affairs.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools like Microsoft Project, Planisware Enterprise, Smartsheet, or equivalent systems.
• Experience in late-phase development organizations or late-stage asset planning is preferred.
• Familiarity with supporting NDA, BLA, MAA, major regulatory submissions, or submission-readiness planning is preferred.
• Experience utilizing Planisware Enterprise or other portfolio/project management systems in a development context is preferred.
• PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
