This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Act as the main contact for designated Defense OEM key accounts, building strong, lasting relationships with customers’ teams and senior management.
• Create, manage, and implement business development strategies tailored to customers that align with Collins Aerospace's growth objectives.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business prospects across the entire range of products and capabilities offered by Collins Aerospace.
• Lead and facilitate negotiations—including contracts, pricing, and terms—while closely collaborating with Sales, Business Units, and cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable results.
• Organize and prepare for enterprise-level meetings (cross SBU) at Collins Aerospace.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that customer insights, needs, and strategic directions are effectively communicated.
• Collaborate closely with business unit stakeholders to align customer specifications with product roadmaps and available solutions.
• Convert Defense OEM customer requirements into actionable internal directives to aid in the development of customer-centric solutions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer strategies, platform initiatives, and market dynamics to proactively recognize emerging needs and growth opportunities.
• Oversee customer engagement initiatives such as executive meetings, strategic assessments, and long-term planning discussions.
• Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and Collins Aerospace's capabilities, managing risks and addressing issues to uphold exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Professionally represent Collins Aerospace at industry events, customer forums, and strategic engagements.
• Lead RLPM pursuit to initiate activities that support strategic platform-level OEM endeavors in collaboration with SBUs and functional teams.
• Typically requires a University Degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field along with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Prior experience in Pursuit, Order, Capture, and Account Management is essential.
