This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete execution and enhancement of email, push, and in-product messaging initiatives.
• Develop and implement best practices for channels to boost engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
• Regularly test and optimize targeting, timing, templates, and creative elements to elevate performance across all owned channels.
• Create and sustain comprehensive analytics frameworks to assess channel effectiveness and inform optimization strategies.
• Promote and advocate for channel best practices (e.g., send frequency, audience segmentation, and personalization).
• Utilize AI to refine strategies, enhance creative output, and improve campaign performance.
• Explore new communication channels (e.g., SMS) for potential growth opportunities.
• Initiate, evaluate, and expand new channels while focusing on channel compatibility, compliance, and return on investment.
• Stay informed about developments that may influence deliverability and channel effectiveness, including changes in platforms, device operating systems, privacy regulations, and AI-based filtering mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to swiftly communicate and implement necessary strategic adjustments.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to develop and maintain a scalable, reliable, and AI-driven MarTech infrastructure.
• Oversee requirements for automation, personalization, data flows, and reporting across all growth channels.
• Lead the swift identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of platform issues.
• Promote the adoption of AI within MarTech to enhance growth marketing initiatives.
• Instill a scientific approach to growth: design experiments, evaluate outcomes, and apply insights to shape broader channel and growth strategies.
• Cultivate a data-oriented, experiment-driven culture within the consumer growth team.
• Collaborate closely with Growth Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Marketing Enablement to align on priorities and drive impact.
• Proactively communicate risks, opportunities, and results to stakeholders with clarity and actionable insights.
• Guide team members in developing exceptional growth operations capabilities and nurturing a high-performance culture centered on continuous learning and operational excellence.
• Act as a mentor and subject matter expert across Growth and MarTech operations.
• Over 8 years of practical experience managing and optimizing various owned and emerging marketing channels (email, push, in-product, SMS) in fast-paced, data-driven settings, preferably using external marketing automation tools like Braze.
• Proven track record in formulating channel strategies based on analytics and collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
• Demonstrated capability to manage and enhance MarTech infrastructure to support complex growth initiatives.
• Strong understanding of campaign analytics and reporting; able to convert intricate data into actionable strategies and recommendations.
• Expertise in utilizing AI, experimentation frameworks, and advanced analytics to boost channel performance and drive innovation.
• Acknowledged for foreseeing channel disruptions (such as deliverability changes, privacy shifts, platform updates) and swiftly adapting strategies to sustain growth effectiveness.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technical concepts, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.
• Exceptional team leadership and collaboration abilities; capable of working with cross-functional partners to achieve alignment and results.
• Proactive communicator who can provide clear updates on channel performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Deeply curious about evolving customer needs, market trends, and new growth technologies and channels.
• Manages the company's expenditure and resources judiciously, balancing ambition with operational discipline and a focus on ROI.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field is required; advanced degree is preferred.
