This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Establish and nurture impactful relationships with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), community health centers, and organizations within the community.
• Spearhead the development of medical neighborhoods and care linkages within designated communities.
• Convene and engage health systems, community advocates, and a variety of stakeholders to implement evidence-based strategies and shape policy.
• Propel system-wide enhancements in cancer prevention and treatment methodologies.
• Offer technical assistance and disseminate resources that support evidence-based interventions and best practices.
• Foster and empower health care and community advocates to promote policies and practices that expand access to care and enhance health outcomes.
• Align local initiatives with national objectives and organizational priorities.
• Monitor pillar metrics and key performance indicators to facilitate improved health outcomes.
• Travel and work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in public health, health administration, healthcare, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in health care-related and/or nonprofit management, administration, or account management.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship development and the recruitment and mobilization of volunteers.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships with health systems, community organizations, and volunteers.
• Proficient in designing outcome-oriented interventions, educational initiatives, and evaluations.
• Capacity to professionally represent the American Cancer Society to health systems, cancer programs, administrative entities, and community leaders.
• Experience working with diverse populations and constituents.
• Ability to analyze health center data, chronic disease trends, and interpret cancer statistics effectively.
• Up-to-date knowledge of scientific research and best practices through continuous education and training.
• Familiarity with state and community-based program planning and implementation.
• Extensive understanding of health care markets, insurance frameworks, managed care systems, primary care infrastructures, Medicaid, Medicare, government policies, and oncology payment models.
• Must reside in Oklahoma or Arkansas.
• Travel, including evening and weekend commitments, is required.
