This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and empower a team of Community Engagement Specialists to implement community engagement within key advocacy ecosystems.
• Transform organizational strategies into actionable field executions that align with enterprise priorities and community requirements.
• Enhance team capabilities by identifying training, coaching, and development needs.
• Oversee and facilitate community engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with PI&E leadership on disease awareness, community engagement, and planning for execution.
• Direct field-based segmentation and targeting, incorporating tactical engagement plans and KPIs.
• Evaluate community insights and engagement data to uncover trends, unmet needs, barriers to access, and potential opportunities.
• Ensure the consistent application of playbooks, tools, and standardized operating procedures.
• Foster continuous communication between field teams and headquarters.
• Organize and lead team meetings, strategy discussions, and training sessions.
• Guarantee compliance with legal, regulatory, and non-promotional standards.
• Utilize reporting tools and dashboards to track performance and support decision-making.
• Identify and relay opportunities to enhance community engagement models and field execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for external engagements, conferences, and regional meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in a related capacity and/or experience in community engagement, patient advocacy, or public health.
• Proven experience in leading or supporting field-based teams.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to drive execution and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in engaging with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations, or similar groups.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience contributing to health-related, community-focused, or engagement-driven initiatives.
• Preferred experience within HIV, working with patient advocacy organizations, community-based organizations, or healthcare-related community ecosystems.
• Familiarity with health, access, and community engagement dynamics.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or developing team members in the field.
• Experience in supporting training, onboarding, or capability-building initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile or adaptive field engagement models.
• Valid driving license required.
