Associate Director – Beauty Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the ongoing enhancement of the category growth process and advocate for innovative tools in Beauty & Personal Care at Walmart.

• Act as a reliable consultant to Walmart's Beauty and Personal Care Merchandising team, overseeing the strategic direction of collaborative initiatives.

• Direct internal teams and external agency partners in providing thought leadership, strategic solutions, and impactful multi-workstream programs.

• Foster a positive culture, inspire teams, and nurture talent.

• Combine various insight sources to assess both short- and long-term positioning, translating data into actionable execution plans and customer engagement strategies.

• Foresee future opportunities and transform analyses into definitive strategic actions.

• Establish partnerships across cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to align business opportunities with strategic and tactical recommendations.

• Create compelling selling narratives and category strategies utilizing data and creative insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Category Management, Customer Management, Insights, or Sales Strategy.

• Experience in the CPG and Beauty industries is essential.

• Capability to construct and present executive-level strategic recommendations to C-suite audiences.

• In-depth knowledge of Nielsen/Circana, Scintilla, panel providers, social listening and review platforms, as well as digital commerce data sources.

• Proficiency in integrating traditional analytics with state-of-the-art capabilities and tools to convert insights into actions.

• Proven history of leading cross-functional teams and overseeing external agency partners on intricate, multi-workstream programs.

• An MBA is preferred.

• Experience with Walmart is preferred.
