This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with the RVP to foster ownership and drive growth of the Mid-Large Market retirement franchise within a designated territory.
• Play a key role in developing territory strategies that focus on new sales growth, advisor prioritization, and enhancing long-term franchise value.
• Exhibit an ownership mentality regarding territory results by managing opportunities and prioritizing advisor engagement.
• Provide a consultative sales experience to advisors by comprehensively understanding their business models, service offerings, and client requirements.
• Effectively convey how Manulife John Hancock Retirement products fit within advisor and consultant frameworks.
• Utilize a discovery-driven approach to identify and uncover potential opportunities.
• Establish credibility and build robust working relationships with retirement plan advisors and consultants.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of ERISA, DC/DB/NQ plan design, and pricing structures.
• Oversee the qualification and analysis of opportunities to ensure alignment with organizational capabilities and strengths.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of experience in retirement plans or financial services.
• More than 4 years of demonstrated success in internal or external retirement plan sales.
• Expertise in relationship management.
• Experience in ERISA consulting.
• Background in communications, operations, or implementation.
• Active maintenance of Life Insurance and Series 6 licenses.
