This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• accountable for aiding the Deal Hub team in designing, analyzing, and managing projects related to the largest ($1M+) commercial deal strategies and structures for leading health systems and IDNs throughout North America.
• collaborate with the marketing team to develop new and improved offerings that present compelling value propositions to Baxter customers.
• pinpoint key insights to simplify and enhance the sales support processes.
• provide support to the Sales team in cultivating and progressing the deal funnel, boosting big deal win rates, and ensuring compliance with legal, contracting, and pricing policies.
• take ownership of specific workstreams within standard deal opportunities, utilizing established frameworks and offering solutions that enhance deal strategy, execution quality, and customer-facing deliverables.
• manage projects related to defined deal opportunities and workstreams, which includes coordinating meetings, managing timelines, tracking actions, following up with stakeholders, and aligning inputs from cross-functional partners.
• collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, Operations, and Business Leadership to collect inputs, reconcile priorities, align recommendations, and support vital commercial workstreams.
• oversee and implement defined deal frameworks and analytics that guide pricing strategies, return on investment evaluations, fleet assessment recommendations, and technology replacement plans.
• propose ideas that enhance commercial insights and decision-making processes.
• prepare and refine high-quality materials suitable for leadership to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency, including customer value propositions, proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
• guarantee that customer and internal deliverables are completed accurately, punctually, and in accordance with Baxter's policies, procedures, pricing standards, and governance requirements.
• assist in selected commercial enablement initiatives aimed at improving tools, workflows, and reporting to enable Deal Hub and ECA to operate with increased speed, consistency, and scale.
• collaborate with the Director of Deal Hub to co-design, advance, and curate the ECA knowledge management system, which encompasses file structure, key resources, best practices, prior deal examples, and team communications.
• contribute to Deal Hub performance visibility and ongoing improvement by assisting in metrics reporting, process enhancements, sales team coordination, and insights related to funnel, win rate, deal velocity, and commercial execution.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or relevant experience in business, finance, healthcare, or commercial sectors is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in medical technology, healthcare, or a related commercial environment, with familiarity in pricing, sales, contracting, commercial enablement, deal strategy, and customer-facing business support.
• Experience in supporting large contracts, enterprise customers, or commercial opportunities, ideally involving multiple stakeholders, business units, or customer priorities.
• Strong project management abilities, capable of managing timelines, organizing inputs, driving follow-up, and maintaining progress in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven analytical skills, with the capability to connect insights and contribute to practical commercial solutions that align customer needs, business objectives, and operational feasibility.
• A creative problem-solver who can think outside conventional approaches, simplify complexities, connect insights across teams, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust across functions, navigate competing priorities, and sustain productive relationships during fast-paced commercial discussions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, with demonstrated analytical skills to manage deal models, interpret data, create polished presentations, develop clear written materials, and coordinate communications effectively.
• Preferred knowledge of Baxter’s product portfolio, IDN customers, contracting models, or healthcare technology markets; strong learning agility and curiosity are essential.
