📋 Description

• Oversee due diligence processes for ongoing transactions in collaboration with cross-functional Direct Responsible Individuals (DRIs)

• Organize and manage data rooms effectively

• Arrange diligence meetings and debrief sessions

• Prepare consolidated diligence reports

• Develop initial operating models, trading comparables, precedent transactions, DCF analyses, returns analyses, and accretion/dilution support

• Create first-pass screening memos and comprehensive analyses of inbound opportunities

• Assist in the management of the venture investment portfolio

• Maintain an inventory of deal terms, including ownership, instrument types, pro-rata rights, information rights, and board/observer seats

• Gather quarterly KPI updates from portfolio companies

• Monitor valuation marks along with IRR/MOIC for each position

• Aid in forecasting M&A cash obligations for FP&A and Treasury

• Prepare executive deal presentations, Board materials, and related data analyses

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Business, Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution

• More than 4 years of experience in a prominent investment bank, venture capital firm, private equity firm, management consultancy, or startup

• Strong ability to analyze and evaluate business models, including financials, mechanics, and quality, within a financial setting

• Exceptional financial modeling and valuation capabilities

• Proven problem-solving abilities

• Experience in writing, particularly in creating deal memos

• Proficient storytelling skills regarding industry trends, implications, and challenges

• Advanced proficiency in Excel

• Familiarity with data analysis tools

• Capacity to work independently and adaptively across multiple high-priority transactions simultaneously

• Knowledge of SQL is an advantageous addition

• A robust network within the crypto and/or traditional financial markets is beneficial

• A technical background or substantial knowledge of industry software products and services is a valuable asset
