This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage daily onboarding requests for corporate and various non-personal entities, which includes assessing KYB/KYC information, beneficial ownership details, and corporate documentation.
• Execute tasks related to corporate account opening, updates, and maintenance across various systems.
• Adhere to SOPs, checklists, and runbooks while escalating edge cases and ambiguous situations as necessary.
• Assist with intricate changes involving directors, owners, signing authorities, or corporate structures.
• Conduct tasks accurately, promptly, and in compliance, along with basic quality control.
• Monitor work, keep track of SLAs, and inform the Manager regarding volume, backlogs, and obstacles.
• Stay informed about CIRO and FINTRAC expectations and escalate potential risks accordingly.
• Propose and develop workflow enhancements, including checklists, templates, and controls.
• Update and refine SOPs and internal documentation as needed.
• Engage in projects and experiments aimed at streamlining operations and provide operational feedback on tools and features.
• Collaborate with Registered & Complex Accounts, CXO, BDR, Funding/Internal Transfers, AML, and Compliance teams to address account issues.
• Deliver clear, hypothesis-driven updates and recommendations.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
• Pursue professional development through discussions with the manager, feedback, and coaching.
• 1–3 years of experience in operations or back-office roles within the financial services sector, with experience in onboarding or account administration.
• At least 1 year of experience handling corporate, trust, or other non-personal entity accounts in a CIRO-regulated dealer or similar setting.
• Knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks and documentation requirements, including FINTRAC, CIRO, and CRA guidance.
• Experience in reviewing KYC/KYB information.
• Solution-focused with a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical precision.
• Proficient in working with spreadsheets and operational data.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and complete assigned work accurately and within deadlines.
