This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Lead small teams of consultants and analysts in conducting research, analysis, and synthesis of findings that shape our strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Engagement Managers and senior leaders to steer teams through intricate projects, including organizational transformation, strategic development and implementation, market research and assessments, as well as education-sector engagements.
• Plan, execute, and adjust projects within dynamic environments, integrating input from various stakeholders and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Engage directly with clients and partners to comprehend their requirements, foster robust relationships, and implement innovative, creative solutions.
• Conduct and supervise both qualitative and quantitative analyses, distilling complex findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively — in both written and verbal forms — translating data and research into compelling narratives for clients and internal teams.
• Manage and mentor consultants and analysts, guiding their contributions to project deliverables and providing ongoing feedback on work quality and professional growth.
• Support and oversee work plans, project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Develop a deep understanding of partner issues, needs, and contexts while staying informed about market trends, the competitive landscape, and developments in education policy.
• Drive diverse and impactful internal initiatives that contribute to the overall growth and culture of the firm.
• Regularly utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Sheets, and other project management tools.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, accompanied by a strong academic background.
• 3–7 years of full-time, post-graduate professional experience is required (strong preference for candidates from education, management/strategy consulting, public sector, or similarly fast-paced, analytical environments).
• At least 2 years of experience in managing and leading teams, including providing coaching, feedback, and support for professional development.
• Proven history of exceeding goals and delivering high-quality work in client-facing roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to share and synthesize knowledge for diverse audiences.
• Ability to think independently while effectively collaborating with teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
