Associate Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Collect, evaluate, and document business requirements through interviews, document analysis, workflow assessments, and other relevant techniques.

• Assist in documenting both current-state and future-state processes.

• Conduct gap analysis to pinpoint necessary changes for achieving future-state capabilities.

• Identify and convey solution recommendations for clearly defined business needs at the departmental level.

• Offer insights and guidance on complex processes and associated policies.

• Contribute to the design of consulting projects and programs by conducting research, data analysis, and identifying key themes.

• Implement assigned components of digital transformation roadmaps utilizing agile and design-thinking methodologies.

• Aid in technical troubleshooting and quality assurance by identifying issues, conducting defined testing, interpreting results, and suggesting remedial actions.

• Create training materials, documentation, reports, and presentation content.

• Plan and execute small projects or workstreams, encompassing schedules, risks, issues, stakeholder expectations, and desired outcomes.

• Facilitate change initiatives through analysis, monitoring of progress, implementation, and ongoing improvement.

• Gather, validate, and synthesize information to bolster conclusions and recommendations.

• Stay informed about relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting business analysis, process analysis, consulting, project delivery, or related fields.

• Capability to gather and articulate business requirements in a clear and concise manner.

• Experience in analyzing current and future states, performing gap analysis, and contributing to change strategies or implementation plans.

• Ability to plan and manage small projects or work assignments within budget, time, and quality constraints.

• Proficient in data collection, research, information retrieval, and analysis to identify trends and formulate recommendations.

• Comfortable working with technology and enterprise systems without needing to be a software developer or a deeply technical expert.

• Experience or aptitude in artificial intelligence and business analytics.

• Strong questioning, verbal communication, stakeholder management, and customer-focused problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with a team.

• Skilled at reviewing complex materials, seeking necessary information, and presenting clear findings to the team.
