This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the daily operations, provisioning, and upkeep of cloud platforms within Azure and AWS environments.
• Play a role in delivering secure, dependable, and efficient cloud services by adhering to established engineering standards, automation practices, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with cloud and platform engineering teams to facilitate infrastructure deployments, platform operations, monitoring, and enhancements in automation.
• Aid in maintaining operational stability, enhancing service reliability, and supporting ongoing initiatives for cloud modernization.
• Provision and manage Azure and AWS cloud resources using approved Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules, automation tools, and operational runbooks.
• Perform routine cloud platform operations such as patching, backups, maintenance tasks, and incident response support.
• Monitor cloud resources and resolve common performance, availability, and operational challenges.
• Suggest enhancements to CI/CD pipelines and processes for infrastructure automation.
• Support infrastructure deployment and operational workflows within cloud settings.
• Adhere to established standards for security, compliance, tagging, governance, and cost management.
• Document operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support processes.
• Work alongside engineering and platform teams to bolster platform reliability and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Engage in operational readiness, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with cloud monitoring, alerting, and basic automation tasks across enterprise platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be taken into account.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, DevOps, or similar technical positions.
• Practical experience with Azure or AWS cloud fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Basic scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Preference for familiarity with cloud operations, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Relevant cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or associated technologies are preferred.
