This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Provide support for Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies through surgical coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.
• Act as a representative for Medtronic during surgical operations, ensuring that all necessary equipment and products are available.
• Deliver technical assistance, including device selection, programming, and testing of device systems.
• Guide patients through all stages of the clinical process and inform them about Medtronic products.
• Offer clinical support in surgeries, reprogramming, troubleshooting, and follow-ups at hospitals and clinics.
• Address technical queries from customers, patients, and team members.
• Stay updated on competitive products.
• Train and educate physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel through teaching sessions, in-services, programs, seminars, and symposia.
• Assist Management and Sales Training in onboarding new district employees.
• Complete event reporting and documentation utilizing Medtronic technology tools.
• Process customer service orders for pending purchase orders and product replacements.
• Collaborate with materials management to gather purchase orders for covered cases.
• Oversee territory/district inventory, including transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, and expiration/hold controls.
• Contribute to quarterly district, regional, and national initiatives.
• Partner with sales representatives to meet territory/district business objectives and document quarterly activities.
• Visit accounts to restock literature and maintain relationships with office staff.
• Utilize Excel, mobile phones, iPads, laptops, and/or Samsung tablets in daily tasks.
• Manage business expenses and budgets effectively.
• Complete therapy, compliance, and other necessary training.
• Travel within the district and occasionally to other districts for case coverage.
• High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or an Associate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or a Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Preferred: Registered nurse or healthcare professional with experience in a sterile environment.
• Preferred: Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care.
• Preferred: Experience providing service to medical personnel regarding product usage.
• Preferred: Background in a medical device company or pharmaceutical company, with clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, pain management, or home healthcare.
• Preferred: Knowledge of basic reimbursement and the healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment.
• Capability to function using healthcare universal precautions.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and travel overnight as needed.
• Willingness to participate in national and district meetings and training sessions.
• Ability to wear a 7–9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for over 8 hours each day.
• Ability to frequently bend/stoop, squat, and maintain balance.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory.
• For foreign baccalaureate degrees, the degree must meet the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
