Associate Client Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the renewal processes by collaborating with account management and underwriting teams for renewals within the designated book of business.

• Position and present products, rate options, stop loss, and enhanced product portfolios to drive sales and optimize revenue.

• Manage receipts and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to forward to underwriting and stop loss vendors.

• Conduct routine operational tasks related to the evaluation of an RFP (e.g., disruption analysis).

• Serve as a client-facing representative, offering support during open enrollment periods, independently leading open enrollment presentations, and effectively resolving member issues.

• Assist in addressing routine issues (such as underwriting, reporting, billing, employer, and member concerns) by collaborating with relevant departments and the Account Manager to ensure problems are resolved.

• Aid in the renewal process of existing cases by managing claim reviews, stop loss marketing, and establishing service level expectations.

• Generate and analyze Ad Hoc reports upon client, broker, or Account Executive requests.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an account management position is required.

• Familiarity with employee medical benefit plans is necessary.

• Experience with group health insurance and self-funded health plans is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is expected.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver public presentations, conveying benefits and compliance information effectively.

• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
