Associate, Capital Markets – Portfolio Onboarding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with capital markets and transaction efforts related to new portfolio opportunities and refinancing projects.

• Oversee onboarding initiatives for newly acquired or awarded portfolios, managing timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder interactions.

• Aid in pricing analysis for new ventures, taking into account commercial assumptions, cost factors, and transition complexities.

• Create materials for investors and executives, including pricing proposals, diligence presentations, refinancing documents, and portfolio update materials.

• Support the preparation of recurring portfolio overview materials and communications for current investors.

• Facilitate communication with investors and counterparties during deal, refinancing, and onboarding stages, ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and clarity.

• Convert diligence insights, operational assumptions, and financial analyses into concise recommendations and actionable materials.

• Collaborate with asset management, accounting, tax, operations, legal, and external parties to ensure transaction readiness, refinancing, and onboarding execution.

• Monitor open items, decisions, and dependencies across ongoing workstreams.

• Assist in standardizing tools, templates, and processes for pricing, diligence, investor communication, and onboarding efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, structured finance, transaction advisory, or a similarly analytical position.

• Proficient financial modeling and analytical abilities, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint capabilities.

• Experience in preparing materials for investors, executives, or transaction stakeholders, including diligence and pricing documentation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with sophisticated external audiences.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• A high degree of ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
