This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, and Consumers to develop data products that are accessible, consumable, and beneficial for various stakeholder use cases.

• Function as the Business Liaison, serving as the main contact for business and analytics teams.

• Convert business requirements into actionable data use cases outlined in the Data Catalog.

• Facilitate and engage in requirements sessions to gather needs as per stakeholder expectations.

• Guide the creation of mapping documents that encompass business rules, data lineage, and ensure data quality and precision.

• Act as the primary liaison for the data delivery team regarding assigned data products by providing requirements to the development team.

• Ensure the quality of data products by collaborating with data owners and stewards.

• Facilitate, coordinate, or execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Advocate for sound data governance practices (e.g., documenting metadata, capturing product data lineage).

• Approve data product access requests and establish data access policies.

• Continuously enhance the data product based on user feedback.

• Establish and track KPIs such as adoption rates, time-to-insight, and decision enablement.

• Work alongside other DPOs, Stewards, and Technical Product Owners to refine the tools, processes, and technologies for Retirement Data products.

• Suggest and implement new requirements to integrate quality, metadata, and governance standards into workflows.

• Ensure adherence to privacy, security, and regulatory frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data product management, analytics, or product leadership.

• Familiarity with BI analytics/concepts and data warehouse platforms.

• A problem solver who is strategic, results-driven, and detail-oriented.

• Knowledge of the financial services sector, with a preference for experience in the US Retirement industry.

• High adaptability and strong critical thinking abilities.

• Proficient with data and analytics analysis tools and delivery technologies: SQL (mandatory).

• Experience with Jira/Confluence (an asset).

• Familiarity with Databricks (optional).

• Best practices in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
