This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Manage cases independently from intake to resolution.
• Formulate and implement legal strategies through factual investigation and legal analysis.
• Maintain substantial communication with courts, administrative agencies, clients, financial institutions, and opposing counsel.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments.
• Attend hearings and trials as required.
• Travel for in-person hearings, firm training sessions, meetings, and firm-sponsored events as necessary.
• Collaborate with skilled paralegals and centralized operations staff.
• Engage in thorough onboarding, orientation, training, ongoing supervision, and mentorship.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active licensure in two or more of the following states: IN, NC, SC, VA; other active licenses may also be considered.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a remote team.
• High level of organization, time management, and personal accountability.
• Persistent, resourceful, and proactive in solving problems.
• Confidence to manage outcomes from inception to conclusion.
• Willingness to travel for in-person hearings, firm training sessions, meetings, and other firm-sponsored events.
• Proficiency in Mac/Apple operating systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with timekeeping and case management software.
• Familiarity with legal research applications.
• Availability to work regular business hours from Monday to Friday aligned with the respective U.S. time zone.
• A minimum of three professional references is required for application.
