Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with all departments, encompassing the review and drafting of contracts, support in potential litigation matters, and providing legal advice tailored to the specific needs of each department.

• Draft and negotiate operational agreements, including, but not limited to, Master Services Agreements for various business departments, marketing, business development agreements, as well as service and supply agreements.

• Address all daily needs of the Legal Department.

• Create and revise policies, practices, and guidelines to align with business requirements while ensuring compliance with relevant state, federal, and international laws and regulations.

• Oversee the distribution within the company of information necessary for maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with human resources to execute risk management and corporate structuring initiatives.

• Assist in the selection, retention, and management of external counsel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the ABA.

• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction of employment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with statutes, rules, and regulations relevant to businesses.

• 2–4 years of experience with a reputable law firm or pertinent in-house counsel experience (in-house experience is highly preferred).

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating a diverse range of commercial contracts.

• Strong understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
