Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of litigation

• Manage a personal caseload

• Review correspondence and files to assess their suitability for litigation

• Draft discovery and disposition motions

• Conduct trials and advocate for clients in both pre-judgment and post-judgment scenarios

• Attend court hearings

• Provide analysis and counsel on legal and regulatory risks

• Engage in risk assessment and formulate strategies compliant with state and federal regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-5 years of litigation experience

• Experience in civil litigation

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws

• Preferred experience in collection law and/or significant courtroom experience

• Proficient in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc.

• Knowledge of Bankruptcy Law, Foreclosure Law, or the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is advantageous

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and organize large volumes of information

• Must be licensed to practice law in Wyoming or Montana
